The details of the fourth wave operation in the investigation against the AHBAP Association have come to light. A massive transaction volume of 20 billion lira was detected in the suspects' accounts, and it was alleged that 13 people, including businessman Hüseyin Başaran, engaged in circular transactions with these funds. Additionally, undelivered earthquake homes and 59 properties suspiciously transferred in the name of Haluk Levent's assistant have been included in the investigation file.
The investigation into the association founded by singer Haluk Levent, which used donations given to the AHBAP Association for gambling and betting outside its intended purpose, is expanding. Justice Minister Akın Gürlek announced yesterday that a fourth wave of operations was conducted in the 'Ahbaplar Criminal Organization' investigation, and 13 suspects were detained. The details of this operation have emerged.
According to a report by Deniz Yusufoğlu from Sabah newspaper; in the operation where 13 suspects were detained, the AHBAP Association's housing and container purchases, real estate transfers, association checks, and financial relationships considered to be linked to Haluk Levent were examined one by one. The detention list also includes Hüseyin Başaran, the owner of Başaran Holding.
Hüseyin Başaran AGREED FOR 1300 HOUSES, BUILT 490 It was determined that the association agreed with the companies Hamle Yapı, Azim Yol, Pegas, and ISB to build 1,300 houses for earthquake victims, and prepayments were made from the association's treasury. It was revealed that only 490 houses were delivered.
59 SUSPICIOUS PROPERTY TRANSFERS TO YELİZ KAYA One of the most striking aspects of the investigation was the series of real estate transfers made to Yeliz Kaya, Haluk Levent's assistant and treasurer.
Investigations revealed that a total of 59 properties were transferred to Yeliz Kaya: 22 from Başaran Holding A.Ş., 10 from Power İnşaat A.Ş., 17 from Koçsu Yapı A.Ş., and 10 from Orhan İnan. Due to these transactions, investigations are being conducted against company executives.
TRUSTEE APPOINTED TO AHBAP ASSOCIATION Meanwhile, the authority to manage all assets of the association has been transferred to a management trustee. The 8th Criminal Court of Peace in Istanbul decided to appoint Attorney Rıdvan Can, Attorney Mustafa Göktuğ Kaya, and Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kasım Han as trustees for the management of the AHBAP Association's properties, vehicles, cash assets in bank accounts, and other asset values.
20 BILLION LIRA TRANSACTION VOLUME Justice Minister Akın Gürlek reported that within the scope of the fourth wave operation, purchases of houses and containers, suspicious property transfers, checks issued by the association, and financial and commercial relationships were examined in all aspects. Gürlek said, 'A transaction volume of approximately 20 billion lira has been identified in the suspects' bank, crypto asset, and payment institution accounts.'

CLAIM OF 60 MILLION DOLLARS IN ASSETS It was revealed that Hüseyin Başaran, the owner of Başaran Holding who was detained, had filed a criminal complaint just before Haluk Levent was taken into custody last month. Başaran, who lost his daughter in a 2018 plane crash, stated that he trusted Haluk Levent to support girls. According to the claim, Levent said, 'We will build dormitories for university girls,' and wanted to purchase real estate belonging to the Başaran Group worth 60 million dollars under the name of Ahbap, but transferred 22 properties to his assistant Yeliz Kaya. Başaran filed a complaint stating that his money was not paid and the properties were used for purposes other than intended. In the case file, it was claimed that the properties, which Başaran valued at 60 million dollars, were actually worth 22 million dollars.
