The funeral of teacher Ayla Kara, who lost her life in the attack in Kahramanmaraş where 9 people died and 17 were injured, was handed over to her relatives.
Teacher Ayla Kara, who shielded her students during the school attack in Kahramanmaraş, lost her life. Kara's body was handed over to her family after procedures at the hospital.
In the armed attack on the middle school, 1 teacher and 8 students lost their lives. It was determined that the attack was carried out by 14-year-old İsa Aras Mersinli, an 8th-grade student at the school. It was announced that those who lost their lives, along with teacher Ayla Kara, were Mustafa Aslan, Şuranur Sevgi Kazıcı, Zeynep Kılınç, Furkan Sancak Balal, Bayram Nabi Şişik, Belinay Nur Poyraz, Adnan Göktürk Yeşil, and Kerem Erdem Güngör.
TREATMENT OF THE INJURED CONTINUES
While many students were injured in the attack, it was reported that some of the injured were in serious condition. Some of the injured were discharged after their treatments, while the treatment of others continues in the hospital.

According to the details of the incident, it was learned that Ayla Kara was in the corridor during the attack and ran to the classroom as soon as she heard gunshots. It was determined that Kara, who covered her students to protect them, became the target of bullets at that moment.

The body of Ayla Kara, who lost her life, was handed over to her family after procedures at the hospital. It was reported that relatives fainted during the handover of the body, and the remains were placed in the hearse amid tears.
