New details have emerged regarding the incident in Ankara's Sincan district, where a retired sergeant shot and killed his wife and 16-year-old daughter before committing suicide. It has been learned that the couple's other daughter was also injured in the incident and managed to escape from her father at the last moment.

The funerals of Deniz Büyükköprü (46), who was killed by her retired sergeant husband Remzi Büyükköprü (55) in the Sincan district of Ankara, and their daughter Irmak Nehir Büyükköprü (16) were sent to Eskişehir. The funeral of Remzi Büyükköprü, who committed suicide after the incident, will be buried in Kırıkkale.

Retired sergeant Remzi Büyükköprü allegedly fired his service pistol at his wife Deniz Büyükköprü, their daughter Irmak Nehir Büyükköprü, and S.B. (21) during a family argument at home around 10:30 PM yesterday. Remzi Büyükköprü then shot himself in the head with the same gun. While his wife Deniz Büyükköprü and their young daughter Irmak Nehir Büyükköprü died at the scene, S.B. was taken to Bilkent City Hospital with injuries. It was reported that S.B. is undergoing treatment for serious injuries.

The funerals of the Büyükköprü couple and their daughter, whose autopsy procedures were completed at the Ankara Forensic Medicine Institution, were received by their relatives. The funerals of Deniz Büyükköprü and her daughter Irmak Nehir were sent to Eskişehir, while Remzi Büyükköprü's funeral was sent to Kırıkkale.

Levent Çolak, one of the residents of the apartment building, said, "There were sometimes screams in the house. They moved here in 2016. The injured girl ran outside, in short, she saved herself.
