The girl student targeted by the young man who stabbed the assistant principal narrowly escaped the brutality.

In the Büyükçekmece district of Istanbul, a 16-year-old student, B.Y.E., stabbed the deputy principal in the throat for not removing his absences. The suspect, who was taken into custody, stated in his testimony, "I sent a message to the girl I liked the day before. I said, 'I bought you a gift, let me give it to you tomorrow. I will take you to a place where I won't have a headache.' If that girl had come, I would have taken her to the fire escape. Even if she screamed there, no one would hear. First, I would knock her out with a hammer and then stab her. I would have dismembered her." Following this chilling statement, it was revealed that the high school student targeted by the suspect, Yağmur, did not go to school that day because she could not wake up, thus escaping the brutality by chance.

"MY FRIEND SAW A KNIFE IN THE BOOK"

Speaking to Show News, Yağmur said she noticed B.Y.E.'s erratic behavior and distanced herself from him due to his excessive interest in her lately. Yağmur stated, "He seemed to be planning for a while. He was either going to stab someone or hit someone. He told me he bought me a gift, and it was in the book. My friend said she saw a knife in the book."

LUCKILY ESCAPED BY FALLING ASLEEP

Yağmur, who coincidentally did not go to school that day, narrowly escaped what could have happened to her. While explaining her lucky escape, Yağmur said, "I couldn't wake up, and my mom didn't wake me up either," while her mother said, "Thank God I didn't send her."

"IF SHE HAD GONE TO SCHOOL THAT DAY, WE WOULD HAVE RECEIVED HER FUNERAL"

Yağmur's father said, "They left him like a live bomb, attacking whoever he wanted. If she had gone to school that day, we would have definitely received her funeral. My daughter escaped at the last moment, but your daughter may not be so lucky," he said.

FATHER COMPARED TO THE SUR MASSACRE

The father compared the incident to the massacre that took place at the walls. Last year, in the Fatih district of Istanbul, Semih Çelik killed 19-year-old Ayşenur Halil and İkbal Uzuner with a half-hour interval. The murderer, who dismembered Uzuner's body and threw her severed head from the Edirnekapı Walls, later committed suicide by jumping.
