Şuranur Sevgi Kazıcı, an 11-year-old girl who lost her life in the armed attack at a school in Kahramanmaraş, was sent off on her final journey with a funeral ceremony. Her uncle led the funeral prayer.
Şuranur Sevgi Kazıcı, an 11-year-old girl who lost her life in an armed attack at a school in Kahramanmaraş, was sent off on her final journey with a ceremony held in her honor.
After the autopsy procedures were completed, Şuranur's body was taken from the Kahramanmaraş Forensic Medicine Institute morgue by her family and brought to the Duraklı Mosque. A funeral ceremony was held here for the young girl, whose coffin was draped with the Turkish flag.
WIDESPATTENDANCE
Justice Minister Akın Gürlek, members of parliament, and numerous citizens attended the ceremony. Relatives and citizens did not leave the grieving family alone.
HER UNCLE LED THE FUNERAL PRAYER
After the imam asked for forgiveness, Şuranur Sevgi Kazıcı's funeral prayer was led by her uncle, Şerif Kazıcı. Emotional moments were experienced during the ceremony, and tears flowed like a river.
BURIED WITH TEARS
Şuranur Sevgi Kazıcı's body was laid to rest at the Şeyh Adil Cemetery after the funeral prayer was performed.
