The husband who assaulted his wife, who wanted a divorce, in front of the courthouse in Gaziantep was arrested by the judicial authorities to which he was referred and sent to prison.

The husband who assaulted his wife in front of the courthouse in Gaziantep, wanting a divorce, was arrested by the judicial authorities he was brought to and sent to prison. The incident occurred the day before yesterday around noon near the Gaziantep Courthouse in the Zeytinli neighborhood of the Şehitkamil district. According to allegations, Nazlı Y. (26), a mother of three, applied for divorce due to the violence she experienced from her husband Feyzullah Y. and the severe incompatibility they faced, and she filed a complaint against him. Upon learning of the situation, Feyzullah Y. forcibly took his wife to the courthouse to make her withdraw her complaint.

BEATEN TO A PULP

Feyzullah Y. brutally assaulted his wife, who said she would not withdraw her complaint, near the courthouse. The woman, whose face and eyes were covered in blood, was saved at the last moment by nearby citizens, while the attacker fled the scene. It was determined that the woman, who was taken to Gaziantep University Şahinbey Research and Application Hospital, suffered a head trauma, had a broken nose, and serious damage to her eyes. It was reported that the unfortunate woman's treatment in the intensive care unit is ongoing.

ATTACKER HUSBAND ARRESTED

After the incident, the attacker Feyzullah Y., who was caught and taken into custody, was arrested by the court he was brought to after his procedures at the police station and health checks, and sent to prison.
