The immunity files of New Party Chairman Özgür Özel, New Party Malatya Deputy Veli Ağbaba, and Workers' Party of Turkey Istanbul Deputy Sera Kadıgil were submitted to the Parliament Presidency.
The presidential memos regarding the lifting of legislative immunity for New Party Chairman Özgür Özel, New Party Malatya Deputy Veli Ağbaba, and Workers' Party of Turkey (TİP) Istanbul Deputy Sera Kadıgil were submitted to the Speaker's Office of the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM).
New immunity files concerning opposition deputies were delivered to the Speaker's Office of the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM). The presidential memos regarding the lifting of legislative immunity were published by the Parliament Speaker's Office on the 'Incoming Documents' list.
FILES REFERRED TO THE JOINT COMMITTEE
The memos submitted to the TBMM Speaker's Office were referred to the Joint Committee consisting of members from the Constitutional and Justice Committees.
Within the scope of the process, the files referred to the Joint Committee include the following individuals:
- Özgür Özel - Chairman of the New Party
- Veli Ağbaba - Deputy of Malatya from the New Party
- Sera Kadıgil - Deputy of Istanbul from TİP
The immunity files of the deputies will be taken up on the agenda of the Joint Committee in the coming days.
