The inflation data for April in the USA has been released. Inflation increased by 0.2% month-on-month and 2.3% year-on-year, coming in below expectations.
Experts participating in a Bloomberg survey had expected a monthly increase of 0.3% and an annual increase of 2.4%. In March, monthly inflation had decreased by 0.1%, while annual inflation was 2.4%.
