HE BECAME AN AGENDA ITEM WITH THE INTERVIEW HE GAVE YEARS AGO

Yunus Emre Orhan stated that he became an agenda item with the interview he gave after the exam years ago, where he used expressions like "The exam was very bad, master. I couldn't go to school much in the first term anyway, and we couldn't do what we saw. There's nothing. I gave up on English, science already gave up on me. We couldn't do it, we are victims, we are waiting. Covid measures were taken but it was a bit problematic. They talk about social distance but my friend is sitting behind me. If you gather, there isn't even 10 centimeters. In the front, there is a 1.5-meter distance with red dots, but there was no such arrangement in the back. Enough, I'm leaving now, I'm going to eat," and he narrated what happened afterwards.

"I DIDN'T HAVE MUCH INCLINATION TOWARDS STUDYING, I WANTED TO HAVE A CRAFT AND I LOVED DOING MY PROFESSION"

Master Orhan, describing how he started the profession, said, "We had previously shot a video during an LGS exam. We did an interview in the same way. That interview received a lot of attention, it went viral. But we actually didn't have much inclination towards studying. Our father also placed us with a master, saying 'the meat is yours, the bone is mine'. Thank God, over time we became tradesmen, we acquired a craft. I was in first grade, that is, I was 7-8 years old. After school, I would come and help my master. I grew up going back and forth like this. I am now 26-27 years old and I am still continuing the same job. Thank God, we have a profession. I am now a kebab maker, a kebab master. We grew up among tradesmen, we continue to work. Thank God, our present days are not lacking. May God not take our present from us. I worked in the area we call 'Kale altı Tabakhane'. I opened my eyes here, I was born and raised here. Most of my life passed here and I still continue to work here. To be honest, I am not regretful at all. But my studying friends should not misunderstand me; of course they should study, they should continue their education. I didn't have much desire to study. I wanted to have a craft and I loved doing my profession. But still, I advise everyone who is studying to continue their education."

"I EARN AN AVERAGE OF 3,000 - 3,500 TL DAILY"

Orhan said, "I earn an average of 3,000 - 3,500 TL daily. This corresponds to approximately 90,000 TL monthly. When I was in 6th or 7th grade, my friends were getting 30-40 liras as pocket money while going to school. I was earning 150-200 liras daily. This situation was quite appealing to me. I liked being a tradesman and earning money. While my friends were managing with limited pocket money due to being students, I was more comfortable. I could spend as I wished. This directed me more towards working life. My goal is to advance further in my profession. Whatever I can add on top is a gain for me. I finished open high school. But I don't have a goal like university for now. If it happens in the future, why not, but I don't have such a thought right now. I read the comments. One inevitably becomes happy. It's a feeling hard to describe. Becoming recognized suddenly, feeling like a phenomenon is something different. But I didn't pursue this much. I always focused on my work. Frankly, I don't dwell on it much. But when I see the video again, when I read the comments, I become happy. My relatives also send it to me, they give feedback. This also makes a person happy."
