The Israeli army has besieged Bint Jbeil, a key point in southern Lebanon where it continues its attacks and expands its occupation, and it has been reported that Israeli soldiers have begun to enter the area. It was also noted that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu went to southern Lebanon with a delegation accompanying him.

After the critical negotiations lasting 21 hours between the USA and Iran in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, resulted in no outcome, it was reported that the Israeli army, which intensified its attacks on Lebanon, has besieged the important location of Bint Jbeil in the south of the country.

ISRAELI ARMY HAS STARTED TO ENTER THE REGION

Israeli media reported that the Israeli army has intensified its ground and air attacks on the Bint Jbeil district, which is part of the city of Nabatiyeh in southern Lebanon.

In the news stating that the Israeli army units expanding their occupation in the region have besieged Bint Jbeil, it was claimed that there are many members of Hezbollah in the area.

While it was reported that the Israeli army has begun to enter the besieged area, a statement from the army claimed that "20 members of Hezbollah were killed in attacks carried out on the hospital grounds in the region."

NETANYAHU IN SOUTHERN LEBANON

Meanwhile, in a report published on Israeli state television KAN, it was stated that Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has gone to southern Lebanon, accompanied by Defense Minister Yisrael Katz and Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir.

It was noted that Netanyahu held a situation assessment meeting regarding the occupation and attacks they are conducting in the region with Katz and Zamir in southern Lebanon.

Defense Minister Katz had previously stated that they would "maintain security control" in the area up to the Litani River in Lebanon, indicating a permanent occupation.

ISRAEL'S ATTACK ON LEBANON

In a statement made by the Israeli army on March 2, it was reported that sirens were activated in the north of the country after detecting a missile launched from Lebanon. The Israeli army, which later announced that it had launched airstrikes across Lebanon targeting the capital Beirut, decided to expand its ground occupation in Lebanon, conducting intense attacks from the air and sea.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that 2,055 people have lost their lives in the attacks carried out by the Israeli army since March 2. The Lebanese government also announced that the number of displaced people in the country has exceeded 1,162,000.
