In Zonguldak, a woman who reported to the 112 Emergency Call Center that a young man had been stabbed said during her interrogation at the gendarmerie that she committed the murder. The suspect claimed that the man, whom she wanted to leave, assaulted her and that the knife was lodged during the struggle.
In the Hacıali village of the Beycuma district, affiliated with the central city of Zonguldak, Kezban Ç. (28) called the 112 Emergency Call Center in the early hours of yesterday morning and reported, "3 people came to the house, they stabbed Ercan Kolçak." Upon the report, teams were directed to the home of Ercan Kolçak (28). Gendarmerie and health personnel arriving at the address determined that Kolçak had been stabbed in the chest and had died.
THE ONLY WITNESS OF THE INCIDENT WAS DETAINED
After the public prosecutor's investigation, the young man's lifeless body was sent to the Zonguldak Atatürk State Hospital morgue for autopsy procedures. Ercan Kolçak, whose procedures were completed, was buried following the funeral prayer held in Hacıali village. Kezban Ç., the only witness to the incident and the person who made the report, was taken into custody for questioning.
SHE ALLEGED SHE WAS THREATENED AND ASSAULTED WHEN SHE WANTED TO LEAVE
During the procedures at the gendarmerie, Kezban Ç. admitted to stabbing Ercan Kolçak herself, stating in her statement that she wanted to leave Kolçak but was subjected to threats, insults, and physical violence. Kezban Ç. recounted that Kolçak forced her into a taxi and brought her home, where he locked the doors and confiscated her phone, and said that a struggle ensued between her and Kolçak, who came at her with a knife. The suspect claimed that during this scuffle, the knife in Kolçak's hand somehow stuck into his own chest.
SENT TO THE COURTHOUSE
After her interrogation at the gendarmerie was completed, Kezban Ç. was sent to the Zonguldak Courthouse under extensive security measures in the morning hours, with a request for arrest. The suspect's interrogation at the courthouse continues.
