The lawn mower that her son was using came to an end! The 72-year-old woman, whose foot was severed, lost her life.

A 72-year-old woman named Saniye Kumaş lost her life after being injured in her leg by a lawn mower operated by her 54-year-old son, Kamil Kumaş, in the Sürmene district of Trabzon.

THEY WENT TO THE GARDEN TO MOW THE GRASS

The incident occurred around 12:00 in Ormansever neighborhood of the district. Saniye Kumaş went to the garden with her son Kamil Kumaş to mow the grass.

THE MACHINE CUT THE OLD WOMAN'S LEG

Saniye Kumaş was injured in her leg due to the contact with the lawn mower operated by Kamil Kumaş. While her son provided initial treatment to the woman, he also called for help from 112 emergency services.

SHE LOST HER LIFE AT THE SCENE

Despite the intervention of the medical team who arrived at the scene upon the notification, Kumaş lost her life. The body was taken to the forensic medicine institution by an ambulance.

THE ACCIDENTAL KILLER OF HIS MOTHER IS IN CUSTODY
