In Kayseri, 40-year-old lawyer Kazım Selim Somtaş was found dead in his office with a gunshot wound to the head.
The incident occurred in the evening hours at the 1st floor of a 7-story building on İstasyon Street in Gevher Nesibe neighborhood of Kocasinan district. Citizens who heard the sound of a gun from the law firm in the building reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center.
POLICE ENCOUNTERED A HORRIFIC SCENE
Upon the notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the address. Police officers who arrived at the scene found lawyer Kazım Selim Somtaş dead with a gunshot wound to the head. The examination conducted by the medical team determined that Somtaş had lost his life. While Somtaş's body was taken to Kayseri State Hospital morgue for autopsy, an investigation was initiated regarding the incident.
