Seda Toğrul, the lawyer of uncle Salim Güran who was arrested in the Narin Güran murder case, has withdrawn from the case. Toğrul stated, "As a mother, I will continue to follow the case." Previously, lawyer Toğrul claimed that there was no concrete evidence for the arrest of Salim Güran.

CONFESSOR ARRESTED
In the investigation of Narin Güran, whose lifeless body was found 19 days after she went missing in Diyarbakır, the number of detainees has increased. Nevzat Bahtiyar, who confessed to burying the little girl's lifeless body in Eğertutmaz Stream and stated that Salim Güran offered him 200,000 TL in return, was sent to the courthouse after the procedures. Nevzat Bahtiyar (48) was arrested on the charge of "intentional killing of a child in complicity" at the 1st Duty Criminal Court of Peace after his procedures at the gendarmerie.
THE ONLY UNCLE NOT IN CUSTODY: EVEN THE GROUND WON'T ACCEPT HIM
While the whole of Turkey was following the investigation after the discovery of Narin's lifeless body, her uncle Erhan Güran, who is not in custody, spoke. The uncle used striking expressions while describing the conversation between him and the suspect confessing, Nevzat Bahtiyar, who was arrested tonight. Erhan Güran said, "I am the only uncle left outside. 8 uncles are in custody, my son and nephews are also inside. I haven't even gone to the police station for them. When our state reveals it, no matter who it is, my eye's apple, they will serve this punishment. Even the ground won't accept him. The perpetrator remained silent, and he appeared after how many days? Can't there be any trembling in such a heartless person? Can't there be any movement disorder? Can one stay so calm?"
SALIM GÜRAN'S LAWYER WITHDREW FROM THE CASE
Seda Tuğrul, the lawyer of Salim Güran, the uncle of Narin Güran, who went missing on August 21 in Tavşantepe Neighborhood of Bağlar district and whose lifeless body was found in Eğertutmaz Stream on September 8, announced that she has withdrawn from the case. Tuğrul stated the following in her statement: The Narin Güran case, which has been closely followed by the public, has deeply saddened all of us. Although we have undertaken the duty of defense within the scope of the right to defense granted by the Constitution when suspect Salim Güran was arrested without any concrete evidence regarding the incident on September 5, 2024, when it was not even known whether Narin was alive or not; considering the statements of other defendants and secret witnesses included in the file, the fact that Narin was found dead, and the forensic reports included in the file, as a mother, I cannot continue to defend and therefore I have withdrawn from the duty of defense.

As a mother, I directly feel the deep sorrow and pain of our beautiful girl Narin, and I share with the public and the press that from now on, I will follow the case not as a defense lawyer but as a mother, as a citizen, with the hope that a fair trial will be conducted and all those responsible will be brought to justice.
