A woman and a man who were reported to have divorced were found dead in the garden of a housing complex in Istanbul's Çekmeköy district.
In the Taşdelen neighborhood, people who saw a woman and a man lying motionless in the garden of a housing complex notified the police and medical teams. Following checks by medical teams, it was determined that the woman and the man had lost their lives.
THEY HAD DIVORCED 3 MONTHS AGO
After examinations by crime scene investigation teams and the public prosecutor, the bodies of S.Ö. (36) and Ş.A. (31), whose identities were identified, were taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for autopsy procedures. In investigations conducted by police, it was determined that S.Ö. and Ş.A., who were found to have married in 2023 and divorced 3 months ago, had an argument in the building before the incident.
On the other hand, it was determined that the couple had fallen from an apartment flat. While it is unknown how S.Ö. entered the apartment, it was established that Ş.A. fell first, followed by S.Ö.
