In the Kepez district of Antalya, the lifeless body of an elderly man was found in an irrigation canal while he was going to fill a tanker with water.
The lifeless body of an elderly man who came to fill his tanker with water in Antalya was found in an irrigation canal. The cries of his wife, who saw the lifeless body of her life partner, "My love, don't leave me," broke hearts. The incident occurred on 6885 Street in the Göksu neighborhood of the Kepez district. According to reports, the family of Aliiksan Topuz, who came to fill his tanker with the license plate 07 ALN 851 at the irrigation canal on 6885 Street, could not reach him for a long time. When the family saw the tanker by the canal and could not reach the elderly man, they called the 112 Emergency Call Center to report the situation. Police teams who arrived at the given address conducted a search along the canal.

Teams that saw a person lying motionless on the water's surface about 200 meters from where the tanker was located requested support from the Coast Guard and Fire Department. While the fire department teams were preparing to pull Aliiksan Topuz out of the water, the elderly man's son jumped into the water and hugged him, calling out "Dad." It was determined by the 112 Emergency Medical teams that Topuz, who was pulled out of the water by the fire department, had passed away.

Meanwhile, Aliiksan Topuz's wife and children, who arrived at the scene after hearing the news, suffered a nervous breakdown. While waiting for good news from her life partner of half a century, Feride Topuz, the wife of Aliiksan Topuz, was devastated to find him lifeless. The elderly woman, who long embraced and kissed her husband's lifeless body, cried out, "My love, get up, please, don't leave me," as she was overwhelmed with tears. After the work of the prosecutor's office and the Crime Scene Investigation team, the lifeless body of Aliiksan Topuz was taken to the Antalya Forensic Medicine Institute morgue to determine the exact cause of death.
