The lifeless body of the President of the 11th Criminal Chamber of Diyarbakır has been found.

The incident occurred in the evening hours in the Fabrika neighborhood of the Yenişehir district. Murat Özcan, the President of the 11th Criminal Chamber of the Diyarbakır Regional Court of Appeals, did not go to his workplace, which raised suspicions among his colleagues, prompting them to go to the apartment in the dormitory where he was staying. After a long time without receiving a response to their knocking, his colleagues reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center.

THE CAUSE OF DEATH WILL BE DETERMINED BY AUTOPSY

Health, police, and fire teams were dispatched to the scene. The teams entered by opening the door and found Özcan motionless on the floor. The examination by the teams determined that Özcan had passed away. Özcan's body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institution for autopsy. An investigation has been initiated regarding the incident. Özcan's exact cause of death will be determined by the upcoming autopsy.
