In the Bünyan district of Kayseri, 16-year-old B.Ç. suffered severe burns after being locked in an oven by his friends. A month after the incident, B.Ç. recounted his experiences, stating that his friends had mocked him.

THEY LOCKED HIM IN THE OVEN AND BURNED HIM

According to the information obtained, B.Ç. was playing with his friends at an oven in the Fatih neighborhood of the district about a month ago when he was allegedly locked inside the oven by his friends. After his friends increased the oven's temperature, B.Ç. suffered burns on his hands and face. He was later taken out of the oven and hospitalized for treatment.

"I PUSHED THE DOOR WITH MY HAND BUT I COULDN'T MAKE IT"

One month after the incident, B.Ç. described what happened to him, stating that his friends had instructed him to say that water was poured over him. He said: "We played a match with friends around 9-10 o'clock. After that, we all went to the oven. We went to the oven to chat. After chatting for a while, my friend went inside the oven and came out. Then I got curious and went in. When I turned around, my friend was closing the door. I pushed the door with my hand but I couldn't make it. Then I put my hand in my pocket and pulled my hood up."

"MY HAND AND FACE WERE BURNED"

After turning around once, I heard a click sound. The oven's temperature started to rise. I shouted, but they didn't open it. When I hit the door with my hand, my hand hit my head. My two hands and face were burned. After coming out of the oven, everyone panicked. My friends wanted me to say that water was poured over me from a teapot while we were going to the hospital. I don't remember lying in front of the oven. I couldn't come to myself for a few days, and I remembered later. At the hospital, they wrapped my hand and face and applied cream. Then they called my family, and my family came."
