As the Ahbap investigation continues, it is claimed that the images of Haluk Levent appearing in a casino were taken in Cyprus on May 11, 2026.

The repercussions of the gambling images that emerged about artist Haluk Levent, who was detained as part of the investigation into the Ahbap Association, continue, while new allegations have come to light regarding the incident.

THE FOOTAGE WAS TAKEN ON MAY 11

Following the leak of video recordings showing Haluk Levent at a casino roulette table, journalist Sema Kızılarslan shared new details about the images on social media. Kızılarslan claimed that the famous artist went abroad very recently to gamble, stating: "The place where Haluk Levent gambled is Cyprus. The latest date he went to Cyprus to gamble is May 11, 2026..."

"I DID NOT USE AHBAP'S MONEY FOR STOCKS"

During his interrogation at the police station, Haluk Levent firmly denied the allegations against him, arguing that all financial processes of the association have been transparent since its establishment. Stating that he covered all operational expenses of Ahbap from his own pocket in the early years, the artist said that the massive budget of 4.3 billion lira collected especially during the earthquake period was under the supervision of the Ministry of Interior and was directly transferred to earthquake victims. Levent, in his statement, denied claims that donation money was diverted to personal investments, saying, "I never took money from the Ahbap Association and played on the stock exchange."

"IT MAY BE AN IRREGULARITY BUT NOT CORRUPTION"

Haluk Levent admitted that he fell into a huge debt trap due to stock investments in his personal life, describing this as a "bad weakness." In his statement, the famous artist noted that he brought in the association's documents during financial crises and made the following striking defense: "I occasionally used Ahbap's checks and notes as collateral. This can be considered an irregularity, but it is not corruption."
