Five members of the local music group Grupo Fugitivo, who went missing in the state of Tamaulipas, Mexico, were found dead in a wooded area days later. The musicians, who were reportedly beaten and burned, are alleged to have been killed by the "Los Metros" faction of the Gulf Cartel. Nine people have been detained in connection with the incident.
