The draw for the first qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League was held at the UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland. Shakhtar Donetsk, coached by Arda Turan, was matched up against the Finnish team Ilves Tampere.
The draw for the first qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League, the second-tier club competition in European football, has been held. The draw, which took place at the UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland, determined 8 matchups featuring 16 teams in the first qualifying round.
Ukrainian representative Shakhtar Donetsk, led by Turkish coach Arda Turan, will face Ilves Tampere from Finland in the first qualifying round. The first matches of the UEFA Europa League first qualifying round will be played on July 10, with the return matches on July 17.
Samsunspor, which finished 3rd in the Trendyol Super League, and Beşiktaş, which placed 4th, will compete in the UEFA Europa League qualifiers in the 2025/26 season. Samsunspor will play one qualifying round to reach the league stage of the Europa League, while Beşiktaş will play three qualifying rounds. Samsunspor will enter the organization in the playoff round, while Beşiktaş will join in the second qualifying round.
