After the visit to İmralı, the parliamentary activities of the DEM Party continue. A delegation consisting of Sırrı Süreyya Önder, Pervin Buldan, and Ahmet Türk met with the New Welfare Party. After the meeting, YRP leader Fatih Erbakan stated, "Hopefully, it will lead to beneficial results." Erbakan had previously commented on Bahçeli's call for "Öcalan," saying, "It would be a great disrespect to the memory of our martyrs."
