The political party tour of the DEM Party continues. In this context, the DEM Party has started discussions with the MHP. MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli welcomed the DEM Party delegation at the door. During the meeting, Bahçeli's proposal for the establishment of a commission and the process of a Terror-Free Turkey will be discussed.
After the terrorist organization PKK announced its decision to lay down arms, the DEM Party continues its visits to political parties. The next stop for the DEM Party delegation was the MHP. During the DEM delegation's visit to the MHP, Bahçeli welcomed the delegation at the door.
The meeting, which started at 11:30, included MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli, MHP Deputy Chairman Feti Yıldız, and Deputy Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Celal Adan. The DEM Party delegation consisted of Co-Chairs Tülay Hatimoğulları and Tuncer Bakırhan, along with Group Vice Presidents Gülistan Kılıç Koçyiğit and Sezai Temelli.
BAHÇELİ'S COMMISSION PROPOSAL WILL BE DISCUSSED
In the context of political consultation, it is expected that evaluations will be made regarding the new penal regulation, the proposal to establish a commission in the Parliament, and the process of a Turkey without terrorism.
BAHÇELİ LAST MET WITH THE DEM DELEGATION ON JANUARY 2
Bahçeli had previously met with the DEM delegation, consisting of Sırrı Süreyya Önder, Pervin Buldan, and Ahmet Türk, in his office in the Parliament on January 2. Additionally, the DEM Party will visit the AK Party at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey tomorrow at 15:00. Furthermore, a meeting between the DEM Party delegation and the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly, Numan Kurtulmuş, is also expected.
