The Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned Israel's ground operation launched against Lebanon. In a statement from the ministry, it was said, "We condemn in the strongest terms the ground operation initiated by Israel against Lebanon, which further deepens the instability in the region."

The Israeli army announced that it has launched ground attacks targeting key points in southern Lebanon, aiming to expand its occupation amid intense assaults over the past few days.

In a written statement from the Israeli army, it was claimed that the ground attack was initiated to expand the "buffer zone" in southern Lebanon against Hezbollah.
