The Ministry responds to claims of "discounted diamonds for employees."

The Ministry of Family and Social Services was claimed to have made an agreement with a diamond company for its employees to purchase discounted diamonds.

An explanation was made from the social media account of the Ministry of Family and Social Services regarding the issue, which has also been trending on social media.

"THERE IS NO SPECIAL AGREEMENT"

In the statement, which noted that no special agreement had been made and included the phrase "Our press release regarding the claims that 'Our Ministry has made an agreement with a diamond company' in some media outlets and social media accounts," the following expressions were included:

"Various discounts are sent to public institutions by different companies at certain periods. The mentioned discount/promotion offers are sent to personnel for informational purposes as part of a general practice. There is absolutely no special agreement made between our ministry and the mentioned company. We respectfully announce this to the public."
