Miraculously, there were no fatalities in the accident, but 18 of the 80 passengers on board were injured. Numerous emergency response teams were dispatched to the area where the plane was located. Airport officials stated that all passengers and crew on the plane had been reached. The police indicated that the cause of the accident is still unknown, noting that most passengers were evacuated from the aircraft and were unharmed.

New footage has also emerged showing the moment of the plane's fall and the moments when passengers exited the aircraft in the accident that narrowly avoided a major disaster.
PASSENGERS CLIMBED OUT
In video footage shared on social media, it can be seen that people climbed out of the overturned plane while firefighters sprayed foam. Passengers were also evacuated by airport personnel through the plane's doors, and some later ran away from the entrance of the aircraft.
THE PLANE TURNED INTO A FIREBALL UPON TOUCHING THE RUNWAY
The moment of the accident, which miraculously resulted in no loss of life, was captured by the airport's cameras. The footage showed the plane turning into a fireball upon hitting the runway and rolling over.
"THERE WAS A FIREBALL ON THE LEFT SIDE"
One of the passengers, John Nelson, said in a video posted on Facebook shortly after the accident, "Our plane crashed. It is upside down. Most people seem fine. We are all getting out." Later, in a statement to CNN International, he mentioned that there were no signs of anything unusual before landing. Nelson added, "We rolled over, then turned upside down. There was a large fireball on the left side of the plane."
UNBUCKLED HIS SEATBELT AND PUSHED HIMSELF TO THE GROUND
Passengers were left hanging upside down in their seats. Peter Koukov, who was on the plane, told CNN, "We were swinging like bats upside down." Nelson stated that he was able to unbuckle his seatbelt and push himself to the ground, saying, "Some people were hanging and needed help. Others managed to get down on their own."
CEO THANKED THE OFFICIALS
Delta Air Lines CEO Ed Bastian, in a statement regarding the incident, expressed that they stand by those affected by the accident, saying, "I want to express my gratitude to the Delta and Endeavor teams and the officials who provided first aid at the scene." Bastian emphasized that they are trying to confirm the details of the accident and stated that they will share the latest findings with the public.
