The moment of fear during the 5.6 magnitude earthquake in Malatya's Battalgazi district was captured on security camera. During the tremor, which was also felt in surrounding provinces, citizens threw themselves outside in fear.
According to the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) data, the earthquake occurred at 09:00. The magnitude of the earthquake, whose epicenter was announced as Malatya's Battalgazi district, was reported as 5.6.
SURROUNDING PROVINCES ALSO SHOOK
The earthquake, which occurred at a depth of approximately 7 kilometers, was felt in many provinces, especially Kahramanmaraş, Elazığ, Şanlıurfa, and Kayseri.

The tremor experienced in the morning hours caused short-term panic in the region. It was learned that citizens who felt the earthquake came out of their homes and workplaces.
