The moments just before the atrocity were captured on security cameras. The footage shows the mother complaining to the site security as her daughter's ex-fiancé attempts to enter the premises.

Last night around 5:00 PM, a horrifying incident occurred in the Çiğli district of İzmir. At the entrance of the Park Yaşam Ataşehir Site located in the Yeni Mahalle, Necati Yorğun (35) shot his former fiancée Selen Sakın (39) and her mother Serpil K. (70) with a gun, and then shot himself in the chest with the same weapon.

2 PEOPLE LOST THEIR LIVES

Upon receiving the notification, health teams who arrived at the scene determined that Selen Sakın had died at the scene. It was established that Serpil K. and the armed assailant Necati Yorğun were seriously injured and were taken to the hospital by ambulance. Necati Yorğun also died in the hospital. The bodies of Selen Sakın and Necati Yorğun were taken to the İzmir Forensic Medicine Institute morgue after the examination. It was learned that Serpil K. is still receiving treatment in the hospital.
