The moments when Beykoz Mayor Alaattin Köseler, who was arrested and suspended due to a tender investigation against him, was taken into custody in the early hours of the morning have emerged. It has been learned that Köseler was awake at 4:00 AM because he was scheduled to take a flight to Ankara at 6:00 AM, and that he opened the door to the police, who rang the bell at 4:45 AM, while dressed in a suit.
The Mayor of Beykoz, Alaattin Köseler, and the Chief of Staff of the Mayor of Beykoz, Veli Genç, along with 21 suspects, were detained on February 27 for the crimes of "interfering with a tender" and "establishing, joining, and aiding an organization for the purpose of committing a crime."
ARRESTED
After the procedures at the police station, the defendants were referred to the judicial authorities and appeared before the judge, with 13 individuals being arrested and sent to Paşakapısı Prison. The Ministry of Interior announced that Beykoz Mayor Alaattin Köseler, who was arrested for "interfering with a tender," had been suspended from his position.
