According to the Turkish Statistical Institute's data for November 2025, the most preferred color for registered cars was gray. Gray took the lead with a share exceeding 40%, followed by white and black cars.
The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) has published statistics on motor vehicles for the period of November 2025. Accordingly, 183,172 vehicles were registered for traffic in November. This figure indicates a 2.6% increase compared to the previous month.
52.4% OF REGISTERED VEHICLES ARE CARS
In November, cars accounted for 52.4% of the vehicles registered for traffic, while motorcycles made up 29.9% and light trucks accounted for 12.8%. Despite the monthly increase, the number of newly registered vehicles decreased by 3.1% compared to the same month last year. In the annual comparison, an increase was observed in the number of cars and light trucks, while a decline was recorded in motorcycle and tractor registrations.
TOTAL NUMBER OF REGISTERED VEHICLES REACHES 33 MILLION 371 THOUSAND
As of the end of November, the total number of registered vehicles in Turkey reached 33 million 371 thousand. Cars constituted 51.6% of the vehicles in traffic, motorcycles made up 21.1%, and light trucks accounted for 14.7%. In the same month, the transfer of 897,877 vehicles was completed. In transfer transactions, cars ranked first with a share of 67.8%.
GRAY WAS FOLLOWED BY WHITE AND BLACK
Among the 96,003 cars registered for traffic in November, Renault, Volkswagen, and Toyota were the most preferred brands. The domestic car TOGG entered the top 10 best-selling brands with a share of 4.5%. In the January-November period, gray was the most popular color for registered cars, exceeding 40%, followed by white and black.
