The mother who killed her baby by putting thinner in the bottle also poured bleach into her soup.

In Fatih, Istanbul, after 2-year-old Yunus Emre Çiçek was taken to the hospital with complaints of chemical poisoning and subsequently died, his mother Dilek Çiçek (23) was arrested. The statement she gave at the police station was chilling. Mother Çiçek admitted to putting thinner in her child's bottle and confessed to adding bleach to his soup.

EXTRAMARITAL RELATIONSHIP

Yunus Emre Çiçek, who was hospitalized on September 29 due to chemical poisoning, passed away on November 14 despite all interventions during his approximately 1.5 months of treatment. In the investigation initiated regarding the suspicious death, it was determined that the child was the result of his mother Dilek Çiçek's extramarital relationship with Y.E. (46). After it was established that the baby died from chemical poisoning due to ingesting thinner from his bottle, mother Dilek Çiçek and father Y.E. were taken into custody.

CONFESSED TO POISONING WITH HER OWN HANDS

While mother Çiçek was arrested by the court, father Y.E. was released under judicial control. Although Çiçek initially denied the incident in her first statement at the police station, it was reported that she confessed to poisoning her child with her own hands after being unable to withstand further questioning by the police.

"I MADE SOUP AND PUT BLEACH IN IT"

According to a report by the Sabah newspaper, the monstrous mother confessed in her statement that she killed her child, saying, "My family did not want the child. I fell into a deep depression. They were beating the child and throwing him around. So, I put thinner in his bottle. I made soup and added bleach to it before giving it to him," it was noted.
