In the Selçuk district of İzmir, the mother Melisa Sinem Akcan, who was detained in connection with the fire that claimed the lives of her 5 children, was released under judicial control.
The mother Akcan (27), who was brought to the Tahsinağa Mosque under police supervision to attend her children's funeral and fell ill, was taken to Selçuk State Hospital, where her treatment was completed.
After being transferred from the hospital to the courthouse, Akcan was released under judicial control with a travel ban imposed by the duty magistrate.
INCIDENT
In Selçuk district, in a house fire that broke out yesterday in Cumhuriyet Neighborhood, the siblings Fadime Nefes (5), Funda Peri (4), Aslan Miraç (3), Masal Işık (2), and Aras Bulut Akcan (1), who were alone in the house and were affected by smoke, lost their lives.
In her initial statement, the detained mother Akcan reportedly said that she had left the house for a short time to collect money from the scrap dealer and saw that the fire had broken out when she returned home 15-20 minutes later.
