The mystery surrounding the discovery of a male corpse buried in the garden of an empty villa in Büyükçekmece, Istanbul, has been unveiled. It has been revealed that the body belongs to Nametullah S., an Afghan national who had been missing for months. It was learned that Cebrail K., Muhammed Yavuz K., and Nejat K. assaulted and killed Nametullah S. at his home over a debt issue, and then buried him in the garden of the villa.

In the Kumburgaz neighborhood of the Büyükçekmece district in Istanbul, police teams found the body of a foreign national, who had been wanted for some time, buried in the garden of a villa under construction yesterday. The body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute Morgue for examination.

It was learned that Nametullah S., a citizen of Afghanistan, was beaten to death at home due to a debt issue by his uncle Cebrail K. and his cousins, Muhammed Yavuz K. and Nejat K., and then buried in the garden of an empty villa.

In the images shared on social media some time ago, moments were captured where Nametullah S. was forcibly put into a vehicle by his uncle and cousins. His uncle Mola Morat, who coincidentally watched the footage of the moments when Nametullah S. was kidnapped, filed a complaint through the Afghan Consulate. Following the complaint, the investigation was expanded by the Küçükçekmece Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.

As part of the investigation, the teams from the Public Order Branch Directorate's Missing Persons Bureau, which took action, determined that Nametullah S., who had been reported missing since the date of the incident, might have been buried in the construction area where villas belonging to Cebrail K. were located, based on HTS analysis, street work, and research. Cebrail K., who is currently imprisoned, confessed in a statement given to the prosecutor with special permission that he had beaten and killed Afghan Nametullah S. in the area of his own villa and buried him together with his cousins Muhammed Yavuz K. and Nejat K. It was also revealed that the person whose body was found had been missing for months.

THE BODY WAS DETECTED BY DOGS, EXCAVATORS REMOVED IT

After Cebrail K. confessed to his crime, excavators were called to the area where the villas were located to retrieve the body of Nametullah S., who had been missing for about 2 months. After the cadaver dogs Melon and Zeyna, belonging to the Public Order Branch Directorate, detected the location of the body, the area began to be excavated. As a result of the excavation work, the lifeless body of the man who had been reported missing was found at a depth of 4 meters.
