The New Party Headquarters opens tomorrow with its first meeting. Under the chairmanship of Chairman Özgür Özel, PM and Founding Members Board meetings will be held. The renovation is complete, and staff have moved in. The meetings will continue on September 1-2.
The headquarters of the New Party opens its doors with the first meeting tomorrow. Following the PM meeting chaired by Party Leader Özgür Özel, the Founding Board meeting will take place. With the preparations completed, the New Party staff moved into the headquarters today.
THE NEW BUILDING WILL OPEN ITS DOORS
The headquarters of the New Party, located in the Mustafa Kemal neighborhood and leased on August 5, will open its doors tomorrow after a month-long renovation and preparation process. The PM meeting chaired by Party Leader Özgür Özel will be the first meeting at the new headquarters. The renovation work in the four-story headquarters has been completed. Three flags bearing the Turkish flag, a photo of Atatürk, and a photo of Özel were hung on the headquarters building. Today, as headquarters staff settled into their offices, the building is being made ready for tomorrow with the cleaning completed.
ÖZEL WILL SPEAK AT THE GROUP MEETING
New Party Leader Özel will attend the funeral ceremony for Cevdet Selvi, former Deputy Chairman of the CHP, to be held at the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) tomorrow at 11:00. Özel will then come to the New Party headquarters, where he will chair the Party Assembly (PM) and the Founding Board group meetings. During the PM meeting, which will be open to the press, Özel is expected to deliver an opening speech.
FOUNDING ACTIVITIES WILL BE ADDRESSED
The agenda of the PM meeting includes the evaluation of recent political developments and founding activities, assessments on organization, provincial and district congresses, and the congress process, as well as the presentation and evaluation of the field work program. In the Founding Board meeting, the congress regulations are expected to be discussed.
The meetings will continue on September 1 and 2. Accordingly; Özel will chair the MYK meeting on Tuesday, September 1, and the provincial chairpersons' meeting on Wednesday, September 2.
