In the incident that occurred on 263rd Street in the central Abdullahpaşa neighborhood of Elazığ, Vahap Selim Çetin shot his girlfriend Semra Demirelli, who works as a Main News Reporter at Kanal Fırat, while her mother was also at home.

Upon notification from the surrounding people, 112 emergency health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. Semra D., who was shot in the back of the neck, was taken to Fırat University Hospital by ambulance after the first intervention at the scene. Semra D.'s life threat continues.

HE FLED AND COMMITTED SUICIDE AFTER THE ATTACK

After the incident, Vahap Ç. fled and attempted suicide in the Akçakiraz area of the Elazığ-Bingöl highway. After being notified, health teams dispatched to the scene provided first aid to Vahap Ç., who was then taken to Fethi Sekin City Hospital by ambulance for treatment. Despite all interventions, Vahap Ç. lost his life. A comprehensive investigation has been launched regarding the incident.
