Şener stated that no offer has been made for Real Madrid's goalkeeper Andriy Lunin, expressing that the possibility of the player transferring to Galatasaray is nonexistent, and said, "There is no offer for Real Madrid goalkeeper Lunin. The possibility of coming to Galatasaray is zero." Şener mentioned that clubs from Spain and Italy are interested in Lunin, and he believes that South American goalkeepers adapt to Galatasaray more quickly. He expressed that he likes Günay Güvenç's character but does not find his goalkeeping performance sufficient, stating that Berke Özer could be a better option.
