Protests that began due to economic issues in Iran continue on the 19th day, with the number of people who lost their lives during the demonstrations rising to 2,677. The US-based Iran Human Rights Activists News Agency reported that more than 2,600 people were injured in the events and 19,097 were detained.
The US-based Iran Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA) announced that the number of people who lost their lives in the protests that started due to economic problems in Iran has risen to 2,677.
NUMBER OF ARRESTS NEARS 20,000
According to HRANA's report, more than 2,600 people were injured in incidents across many parts of the country, and 19,097 people were detained. In the events that erupted during the protests, 2,677 people lost their lives.
BALANCE IS GETTING HEAVIER
Iranian officials have not yet made a statement regarding the total number of those who died or were injured in the protests. HRANA, based in Virginia, USA, had reported yesterday that the death toll had risen to 2,615.
