U.S. President Donald Trump announced that a Peace Council has been established in Gaza and that the members of the council will be announced shortly. In the continuation of his statement, Trump indicated that with the support of Turkey, Egypt, and Qatar, they will begin the process of demilitarizing the region, including "the surrender of all weapons by Hamas and the destruction of every tunnel."
US President Trump made a statement on his social media account regarding the establishment of a Peace Council in Gaza. In his statement, Trump said, "I am greatly honored to announce the establishment of the Peace Council. The members of the council will be announced shortly, but I can say for sure that this council is the largest and most prestigious council ever established."
"OFFICIALLY ENTERED THE SECOND PHASE"
Noting that they have officially entered the second phase of the ceasefire process in Gaza, Trump claimed that in the first phase, the conflicts had ceased and a significant amount of humanitarian aid had reached Gaza.

The US President stated regarding the new temporary technocratic Palestinian government, "As the President of the Peace Council, I support the Gaza Management National Committee, which is the newly appointed Palestinian technocratic government supported by the High Representative of the Council to manage Gaza during the transition period. These Palestinian leaders are unwaveringly committed to a peaceful future."
