Galatasaray announced in its 9-month financial report that total debt rose to 29.4 billion TL. The yellow-red club stated that it closed the period with a profit of 25 million TL.
Galatasaray Sportif AŞ Board Member İbrahim Hatipoğlu announced the yellow-red club's 9-month consolidated financial report prepared as of February 28, 2026. The report stated a significant increase in the club's revenues, while also announcing that total debt had risen.
MASSIVE INCREASE IN REVENUE
İbrahim Hatipoğlu announced that Galatasaray's total revenue increased by 47 percent compared to the previous period, rising from 11.7 billion lira to 17.2 billion lira. Hatipoğlu stated, "Our teams are not only champions on the field, but this year they have also surpassed our competitors with a serious increase in revenue."
PROFIT OF 25 MILLION TL ANNOUNCED
It was announced that the yellow-red club closed the 9-month period with a total profit of 25 million lira. Hatipoğlu noted that the impact of inflation accounting was reflected in the table as 3.4 billion lira, while financing expenses were 2.2 billion lira.
SPONSORSHIP AND UEFA REVENUES STAND OUT
It was stated that Galatasaray saw a large increase in sponsorship, box, and merchandising revenues. Sponsorship and advertising revenues were announced to have reached 3.6 billion lira. UEFA revenues were stated to have increased by 167 percent to 2.75 billion lira, thanks to Champions League performance.
FOOTBALLER SALARIES 6.5 BILLION TL
The report announced that athlete salaries rose to 6.5 billion lira. Football player transfer fee expenses were stated to be 2.6 billion lira.
DEBT RISES TO 29.4 BILLION TL
İbrahim Hatipoğlu announced that the club's total liabilities increased from 25 billion lira to 29.4 billion lira. It was stated that the most important reason for the increase in debt was commercial obligations arising from transfer fees.
95.3 MILLION EURO SPONSORSHIP REVENUE
Galatasaray Second President Niyazi Yelkencioğlu announced that a total of 95.3 million euros in sponsorship revenue had been generated since June 1, 2025. Yelkencioğlu also noted that he had witnessed 7 championships in 10 years during his tenure and thanked Okan Buruk and Dursun Özbek.
