BARGAINING STARTS ON DECEMBER 12

CHP: IT SHOULD BE AT LEAST 39,000 TL
CHP Chairman Özgür Özel stated that the minimum wage should be at least 39,000 TL, saying, "This salary provides a breath of relief today. If the employer says 'I can't give it,' and the employee says 'I can't make ends meet,' the state should intervene. We do not accept any figure below 39,000 TL."
YENIDEN REFAH PARTY: IT SHOULD BE 45,000 TL
Yeniden Refah Party Chairman Fatih Erbakan emphasized that the demand for the minimum wage is 45,000 TL, stating, "The minimum wage should be 45,000 TL. The state should provide the necessary support for the burden on employers."
DEM PARTY: AT LEAST 46,000 TL
DEM Party Co-Chair Tülay Hatimoğulları announced that the minimum wage they are demanding is 46,000 TL: "The minimum wage should be at least 46,000 TL. Additionally, it should be updated throughout the year according to inflation and should not be less than half of the poverty line."
GELECEK PARTY: NET 35,000 TL
Gelecek Party Chairman Ahmet Davutoğlu stated that the gross minimum wage should not fall below 40,000 TL, and the net wage should not be less than 35,000 TL: "The net minimum wage should not be below 35,000 TL."
DEVA PARTY: 33,000 TL
DEVA Party Chairman Ali Babacan stated in a live broadcast on Haberler.com that the minimum wage should be at least 33,000 TL for the year 2026. During the live broadcast, Babacan took out his phone and calculated, saying, "When we add the rights from the past, this year's inflation, and the share of prosperity, at least a 50% increase is needed. In other words, the wage of 22,000 TL needs to rise to the level of 33,000 TL."
BÜYÜK BİRLİK PARTY: 33,050 TL
Mustafa Destici, the Chairman of the Büyük Birlik Party, who was a guest on Haberler.com, calculated the raise that should be made to the minimum wage with a pen and paper. Reminding that despite last year's inflation being 50%, a 30% raise was made, Destici stated, "This year, inflation is expected to be 30-31%. The remaining 20% from last year, plus 30% equals 50. In other words, the minimum wage should increase by at least 50%. And I am stating the exact figure: it should be 33,050 TL."
