In a statement from the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was noted that the investigation into the crime of "money laundering from criminal activities" against the suspect Muzaffer Yıldırım is ongoing by the Office for the Prevention of the Financing of Terrorism and Money Laundering.

In the statement, it was reported that the TMSF was appointed as a trustee by the decision of the Peace Criminal Court regarding the 6 companies, which are considered to have been used in the laundering of criminal proceeds obtained from the predicate offenses owned by the suspect, and it was emphasized that the investigation is continuing in a multifaceted and meticulous manner.
