Fenerbahçe announced that the fallen Infantry Sergeant Major Fikret Mangura is the brother of Nihat Mangura, a reporter for Fenerbahçe Television.

In 2022, 19 of our soldiers searching for the remains of Lieutenant Nuri Melih Bozkurt, who was martyred, were poisoned by methane gas while conducting a search in a cave in the Pençe-Kilit Operation area. The Ministry of National Defense announced that 12 of our soldiers were martyred.

NIHAT MANGURA'S BROTHER WAS MARTYRED

The Fenerbahçe Club announced that the martyred Infantry Sergeant Major Fikret Mangura is the brother of Nihat Mangura, a reporter for Fenerbahçe Television.

In a statement made on the club's official news site, it was said, "We have learned with deep sorrow that the number of our soldiers who were martyred due to poisoning from methane gas in the Pençe-Kilit Operation area has reached 12. May our country's and nation's heads be held high."

The funeral of our heroic soldier, Infantry Sergeant Major Fikret Mangura, will be held on Tuesday, July 8 (tomorrow) after the noon prayer at the New Mosque in Manisa and will be buried at the Seferihisar Martyrs' Cemetery."
