Following MHP leader Bahçeli's message of "Terror-free Turkey," attention has turned to the terrorist organization's dissolution congress and the disarmament process, coinciding with the historic call from terrorist leader Abdullah Öcalan. The PKK's dissolution congress may be held in Erbil or Sulaymaniyah. The disarmament process will also be monitored by the governments of Turkey, Iraq, and Syria.

After the call of terrorist leader Abdullah Öcalan to "lay down arms," the dissolution timeline of the terrorist organization PKK has started to become clearer.
According to the news by Yücel Kayaoğlu from Türkiye Gazetesi, evaluations regarding the PKK's congress were made during meetings between PKK leader Öcalan and state officials. For a long time, due to UAVs and armed drones, terrorists, especially the organization's leaders, have been in a situation where they can hardly "stick their noses outside." For this reason, there are some requests coming from Qandil and the organization's European wing regarding the "ensuring of security" for those who will attend the congress.
THE DISARMAMENT PROCESS WILL BE MONITORED BY 3 COUNTRIES
If the congress is held in Erbil or Sulaymaniyah, it is stated that the necessary measures can be taken by the Iraqi administration. AK Party sources express that the Iraqi administration will be on alert against attacks by intelligence agencies of some countries that want to sabotage the process during the congress. The disarmament process, which will begin after the dissolution decision is made at the congress, will be monitored by the administrations of Turkey, Iraq, and Syria. In this process, referred to as the "monitoring and oversight process," the origin and registration of the weapons will be recorded one by one. Decisions regarding where the weapons will be delivered, how they will be delivered, and what will happen to these weapons afterward will be made through a joint mechanism established by the intelligence units of the three countries.
AK PARTY IS COLD TOWARDS THE PROPOSAL
The AK Party is currently cold towards the proposal from the DEM Party to establish a commission in the Parliament regarding this process. AK Party sources state, "Right now, we have no agenda other than disarmament and dissolution. These matters will happen step by step. There will be monitoring. New decisions will be made according to the atmosphere that emerges at each stage. First, all components will lay down their arms. The liquidation process will be completed. This will be permanent. After everything is completed, we will sit down and talk together."
"THE CALL INCLUDES ALL COMPONENTS"
On the other hand, it is reported that some members of the DEM Party stated in their meetings with AK Party members that Öcalan's call encompasses all components of the organization, including its European, Iraqi, Syrian, and Iranian branches. Although there are differing opinions within the DEM Party on this matter, according to high-level security sources, there is no doubt that the call encompasses the entire organization, regardless of the name under which it is made.
