The General Directorate of Security has issued a new statement regarding the school attacks in Şanlıurfa and Kahramanmaraş. Accordingly, detention orders have been issued for 83 individuals related to the school attacks, and access to 940 social media accounts has been blocked. The statement also noted that 93 Telegram groups have been shut down.
While consecutive school attacks in Şanlıurfa and Kahramanmaraş have stirred Turkey, the General Directorate of Security has also pressed the button following the incidents.
Regarding the attacks, detention orders have been issued for 83 individuals, access bans have been imposed on 940 social media accounts, and 93 Telegram groups have been closed.
STATEMENT FROM SECURITY
In a statement made by the General Directorate of Security regarding the development, the following expressions were included: "Detention orders have been issued for 83 individuals who were found to have made posts and activities praising crime and criminals and aimed at negatively affecting public order, and legal proceedings have been initiated against them. Additionally, access bans have been imposed on 940 social media accounts, and 93 Telegram groups have been closed."
