Security measures were taken, flags were hung, and a press center was established at the Presidential Complex ahead of the NATO Leaders Summit to be held in Ankara on July 7-8.

Preparations have been completed at the Presidential Complex in Ankara, where the NATO Summit will be held.

PREPARATIONS AT THE COMPLEX COMPLETED

The Presidential Complex will host heads of state and government from 32 NATO member countries, thousands of diplomats, journalists, and guests for two days.

Within the scope of the summit, where all preparations from security to logistics, communication to technology have been completed, leaders will address issues such as strengthening NATO's deterrence and defense capacity, Euro-Atlantic security, defense expenditures, strategic goals regarding the alliance's future, and regional and global security matters.

TWO AIRPORTS WILL SERVE

As part of the summit, Esenboğa, Ankara, and Mürted airports will serve participants. Extensive security measures have been taken across Ankara to ensure the summit's security, with police, gendarmerie, and relevant security units operating in coordination around the Presidential Complex.

OVER 50 THOUSAND PERSONNEL WILL BE ON DUTY

Additional measures will also be implemented in the airspace, land transportation, and critical points. For summit security, a total of 56,927 personnel, including 48,841 police, 7,447 gendarmerie, and 639 cybersecurity staff, will serve.

At the complex, meeting halls for leaders' sessions, bilateral meeting areas, and sections for joint press conferences have been prepared with state-of-the-art communication infrastructure.

The International Media Center, established at the Presidential National Library for domestic and foreign press members, has also started operating with the necessary technical equipment for broadcasting and news flow.

OVER 100 LIVE BROADCAST POINTS

There are 1,800 workspaces prepared in the center. There will be 40 editing rooms, 54 fixed and over 100 live broadcast points. The center includes 11 press conference halls, the largest accommodating 500 people. A media task force of 850 people has been formed in Ankara for the summit. Broadcaster TRT will broadcast from 26 points with 96 cameras and 18 live broadcast vehicles.

As part of the organization, thousands of staff will serve in protocol, security, health, transportation, logistics, interpretation, and technical support services.

During the summit, bilateral meetings of leaders and various side events are also planned.

The summit, hosted by Turkey, is expected to assess the security challenges facing the alliance and lay the groundwork for important decisions aimed at strengthening cooperation among allies.
