COMPLAINT WITHDRAWN UPON KILIÇDAROĞLU'S INSTRUCTION

Upon Kılıçdaroğlu's instruction, the complaint made by the previous CHP administration about the Kolukısa couple was dropped. In the petition submitted to the Ankara 18th Criminal Court of First Instance by the CHP lawyer, it was stated that the personal situation of the family was re-evaluated, and it was expressed that İmam Hüseyin Kolukısa and Kadriye Kolukısa had no place to take shelter due to old age, disability, and harsh living conditions.

The petition emphasized that it was understood the Kolukısa couple was in the party's property for "necessary and humanitarian reasons," and stated, "It is not possible for the Republican People's Party to complain about our fellow citizens who are understood to be in need, or to request the continuation of such a trial."

In the application submitted to the court on behalf of CHP, it was stated that the previous complaint reflected in the file stemmed from an erroneous assessment, and it was reported that there was no complaint against the Kolukısa couple and that the complaint had been withdrawn. Additionally, the application requested the dismissal of the case regarding the offense related to the complaint and the termination of conciliation procedures.

The incident occurred on July 21, 2025, in the Altındağ district of Ankara. Legal action had been taken against the Kolukısa couple, who were staying in the old CHP Altındağ District Directorate building evacuated about 5-6 years ago due to urban transformation, and the process was later brought to court.
