The prosecutor stated that Ayhan Bora Kaplan is the founder and manager of the criminal organization, and that the defendant Fethi Koyuncu is the manager of the criminal organization, holding these defendants responsible for all the crimes allegedly committed by the organization. The prosecutor requested life imprisonment for both defendants Kaplan and Koyuncu for the crime of "intentional murder," and additionally requested sentences of up to 150 years and 6 months in prison for these defendants for the crimes of "establishing and managing an armed organization for the purpose of committing a crime," "intentional injury" against 7 individuals, "deprivation of liberty," "qualified theft" against 2 individuals, "torture," "destruction, concealment, or alteration of crime evidence," "taking over a crime," and "aiding a criminal."

REQUEST FOR ACQUITTAL FOR 16 DEFENDANTS

The prosecutor indicated that the actions of the defendants Mutlu Ayaş, Yusuf İzzet Savaş, and Kanber Keskin, who are listed as "criminal organization leaders" in the indictment, constitute the crime of "membership in an armed criminal organization" based on the existing evidence and the entirety of the file. It was requested that some of the defendants be imprisoned for "intentional injury," "deprivation of liberty," "qualified theft," and "torture." The prosecutor requested up to 6 years of imprisonment for 4 defendants for the crime of "knowingly and willingly aiding the organization without being part of the hierarchical structure of the armed organization," while requesting acquittal for 16 defendants.

HEARING ADJOURNED TO NOVEMBER 11

The prosecutor, who requested that the execution of the arrest warrants for the 6 fugitives, including the defendant Serdar Sertçelik, be awaited, also requested that the file regarding the death of the victim Semih Arslan be recorded under a different case number and separated. After the opinion, the presiding judge announced the interim decision, ruling that the current status of the detained defendants would continue and adjourned the hearing to November 11.
