The Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, in coordination with TOKİ, and the General Directorate of Real Estate Investment Trust and Construction Affairs, will deliver a total of 452,983 housing units, including 358,859 residences, 31,307 commercial properties, and 62,817 village houses, to the rightful owners by the end of the year in 11 provinces affected by the earthquake.

182 THOUSAND PEOPLE ARE WORKING HARD
According to a statement from the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, a total of 182,000 people are continuing their work at 3,481 construction sites, including 1,900 construction sites and 1,581 village house construction sites, in 11 provinces across 174 different areas coordinated by TOKİ, Emlak Konut GYO, and the General Directorate of Construction Works. So far, a total of 201,580 housing units have been delivered in the 11 provinces affected by the earthquake, including 169,171 residences, 149 workplaces, and 32,260 village houses. By the end of this year, a total of 452,983 housing units, including 358,859 residences, 31,307 workplaces, and 62,817 village houses, will be delivered to the rightful owners.
A LARGE NUMBER OF HOUSES HAVE BEEN DELIVERED TO RIGHTFUL OWNERS IN 11 PROVINCES
As part of the ongoing works, a total of 6,817 housing units, including 6,700 residences and 117 village houses, have been delivered in Adana. By the end of this year, a total of 12,522 housing units and workplaces, including 11,899 residences, 89 workplaces, and 534 village houses, will be delivered.
- In Adıyaman, a total of 31,406 housing units have been delivered, including 27,433 residences and 3,973 village houses. By the end of the year, a total of 43,573 housing units and workplaces, including 30,835 residences, 2,580 workplaces, and 10,158 village houses, will be delivered to the rightful owners.
- In Diyarbakır, a total of 7,920 housing units have been delivered, including 7,665 residences and 255 village houses. By the end of the year, a total of 17,577 housing units and workplaces, including 16,027 residences, 251 workplaces, and 1,299 village houses, will be delivered.
- In Elazığ, a total of 8,834 housing units have been delivered, including 8,149 residences and 685 village houses. By the end of this year, a total of 13,142 housing units and workplaces, including 10,261 residences, 87 workplaces, and 2,794 village houses, will be delivered to the rightful owners.
- In Gaziantep, a total of 22,475 housing units have been delivered, including 19,428 residences, 52 workplaces, and 2,995 village houses. By the end of the year, a total of 29,500 housing units and workplaces, including 23,694 residences, 1,219 workplaces, and 4,587 village houses, will be delivered.
- In Hatay, a total of 46,167 housing units have been delivered, including 40,586 residences, 27 workplaces, and 5,554 village houses. By the end of the year, a total of 153,248 housing units and workplaces, including 133,382 residences, 9,103 workplaces, and 10,763 village houses, will be delivered to the rightful owners.
- In Kahramanmaraş, a total of 34,630 housing units have been delivered, including 24,420 residences, 30 workplaces, and 10,180 village houses. By the end of the year, a total of 74,187 housing units and workplaces, including 53,976 residences, 6,397 workplaces, and 13,814 village houses, will be delivered.
- In Kilis, a total of 2,156 housing units have been delivered, including 1,713 residences, 4 workplaces, and 439 village houses. By the end of the year, a total of 2,861 housing units and workplaces, including 1,854 residences, 4 commercial units, and 1,003 village houses, will be delivered to the rightful owners.
- In Malatya, a total of 26,325 housing units have been delivered, including 20,212 residences, 20 workplaces, and 6,093 village houses. By the end of the year, a total of 79,420 housing units and workplaces, including 55,496 residences, 10,714 workplaces, and 13,210 village houses, will be delivered.
- In Osmaniye, a total of 7,337 housing units have been delivered, including 6,391 residences, 6 workplaces, and 940 village houses. By the end of the year, a total of 12,218 housing units and workplaces, including 9,366 residences, 760 workplaces, and 2,092 village houses, will be delivered.
- In Şanlıurfa, a total of 7,513 housing units have been delivered, including 6,474 residences, 10 workplaces, and 1,029 village houses. By the end of the year, a total of 14,735 housing units and workplaces, including 12,069 residences, 103 workplaces, and 2,563 village houses, will be delivered to the rightful owners.
So far, 32,260 village houses have been completed in the earthquake-affected region. By the end of 2025, it is aimed to deliver 62,817 village houses in the earthquake-affected region.
MOSQUES AND BATHS ARE BEING RESTORED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THEIR HISTORICAL STRUCTURE
On the other hand, a total of 722 workplaces are being built in three phases in Uzun Çarşı, Hatay. Habib-i Neccar Mosque is being constructed in accordance with its historical structure. The lottery for 394 workplaces around Kemalpaşa Street is being drawn. Construction has also begun for 123 workplaces and 69 residences on Kurtuluş Street. In Kahramanmaraş, the restoration of 140 shops, 122 of which are registered cultural assets, is ongoing in the Covered Bazaar in the Dulkadiroğlu District. Construction will also begin for 76 workplaces in the historical Demirciler Bazaar.
WASTES ARE ALSO USED IN CONSTRUCTION
The historical city square is being rebuilt in Adıyaman. In Malatya, historical areas such as Şire Pazarı, Kuyumcular Çarşısı, Yüzüncü Yıl, and Bakırcılar Çarşısı, along with residences and offices, as well as mosques and historical baths, are being restored in accordance with the city's structure. The ministry is also recycling debris waste. In this context, 100 million cubic meters of debris waste in 11 provinces have been separated into concrete, brick, iron, glass, and steel with the Zero Waste approach at waste separation centers in Hatay and Kahramanmaraş, and these wastes have been used in the reconstruction of the cities.
