The incident occurred in the evening hours in the town center of Karacasu, Aydın. According to information obtained, 63-year-old Kamil Kulaksız, who lived in Denizli and had been receiving psychological treatment for some time, came to his son's house, the Karacasu District Police Commissioner, about a month ago and began living there.
HE REACHED THE LICENSED PISTOL
According to allegations, Kulaksız reached his son's licensed pistol, which was stored on a cabinet in the house. Following the sound of a gunshot from the house, police and health teams were dispatched to the scene upon neighbors' notification.
Teams entering the house determined that Kamil Kulaksız had lost his life from a firearm.
THE DISTRICT GOVERNOR ALSO ARRIVED AT THE SCENE
Karacasu District Governor İsmail Battal also came to the scene and conducted examinations. While crime scene investigation teams carried out detailed work at the house, it was assessed that Kulaksız had ended his own life.
