In Virginia, USA, 58-year-old hunter Lester C. Harvey lost his life when a bear he shot fell from a tree onto him during a hunting trip. According to a statement from the Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources, a group of hunters, including Harvey, went hunting on a property located in the Lunenburg area on December 9.

The statement shared that one of the hunters in the group shot a bear that was climbing a tree, and the shot bear fell onto Harvey from a height of 3 meters. It was reported that 58-year-old Harvey, who was seriously injured when the bear fell on him, was taken to the hospital, but despite all interventions, he could not be saved and passed away on December 13.
